I got this yesterday from another member.

I am surprised how much I like the matte old school printed dial. The lack of writing makes it easy to read. It is retro looking without being on an old vintage watch (30+ years I mean). The date mag is less powerful, I know the Rolex mag is 2.5X so I think would be 2.0X or less.

Of all the Sub's I have had the most comfortable was the ND Sub. This Sub is the same case size (I think 39.6mm) and maybe a bit thinner. It hugs the wrist closely.

It does shimmer like the Rolex Subs with polished sides and bezel.

It has a Rolex triplock crown and is signed rolex on the case back.

The bezel feels cheaper and is slightly tinny, but functional.

The bracelet is exactly like the older oysters with out the dive extension or clasp lock. A secure click to it, and almost an inch of micro extensions.

The little engine that could inside is a top grade ETA Cal・2824. Runs at +4sec/day so I'm happy with it..... (borrowed pic).

Here's a look at the Sub with my Speedy. Holds its own quite well.

This watch loves the Bond too.....

This must be the best of the Tudor line Sub's.... it is so close and yet has it's own feel. It is a 1998 production model.

It is no Rolex, but it is a great watch for the price....

///mods if you guys ban Tudors just kill this thread....

Sorry, I'm sure your eye is better than mine, but the 'fair bit swapped out' comment is a bit cryptic for me. Do you mean after-market parts or mixed models?

I notice the extended downstroke on the 5 on the bezel, but I see that on some pix on Orchi's thread:

The Tudor Subs are great watches!
The original 9315/380B combo is comfortable but I wear my 79090 on a Jubilee.
