Threads not appearing or getting removed?
Hello.
I am a long time member but haven't posted in years until a couple of days ago. I started a thread in the Rolex Buyers/Sellers Forum regarding a DateJust that I'd like to sell. When I went to check on it the next day it was gone. Then I posted it in the general discussion forum yesterday. Again, it's gone. It really wasn't a selling topic as much as it was an advice topic. Just looking for some tips as to how I can appraise this watch and go about selling it. Did I say something wrong or post in the wrong forum? Any advice is appreciated. Please advise. Thanks. |

TRF F/S rules clearly state that you must be a current pledge member in order to post a for sale thread, also no valuation threads are allowed. I assume that’s why your threads were pulled.

Asking “what is the best way to sell a watch" is fine, but one of your threads named the watch and said “Recently serviced. Great shape. One owner. Looking to sell,” and the other was basically a regular sales listings with pics, but no price.

Agreed.
Any posts with the words "have a Rolex" and "looking to sell" outside the FSoT section will get zapped.

Thanks everyone. I'm really just trying to get advice from sellers about what the watch is worth give or take. Can I post this in the General Discussion forum?

Okay. Where can I ask then? Why are valuations against the rules? How don you what to sell it for if you become a pledge and decide to sell (and a newbie)? Thank you!

You are not asking for a "valuation". You are putting an AD for your watch with all the pictures, offering it for sale, and soliciting for bids. 10 minutes on the Internet and you will find what your watch, and others like it, are being listed for.
