I went to my AD today to get a JV for my 351. He had a long in stock, but it was for a deployant clasp. At least I got to see one in person, and am waiting for a long tang buckle JV to come in.

Nope. The Panerai Boutique I called was out. I was hoping they might have a short-length tang buckle model, but they don't make them.

I have a tough time with the $420!

Maybe I will cave one day.

By the way... what size strap did you get?
Hi Kev - I got the standard length. Just FYI - it took about 2-3 months wait at the HK boutique.

Hi guys - that price differential is interesting. In Hong Kong it cost USD$303/HKD2360. Quite a bit cheaper than in the USA. And this was bought after 1 Aug.
