Sub 16610 - black NATO

I got a bit bored today, so got the camera out and snapped a few pics of my Sub. It is currently on a NATO black for a number of reasons, firstly the bracelet is filthy and secondly, so far the NATO is the most comfortable strap I can find to wear under a dry-suit, which is my daily attire. If anyone knows of a better strap I would love to hear it.

Well I bought one, fitted it and while it did look good - it didn't feel right. The extra two layers of nylon under the caseback raised it up off my wrist too much. The additional folds of strap at the 12 distracted from the shape and symmetry of case. Looking at it side on from the 6 made the crown seem to stick out too far.

I suppose after 10 years with a Tag on stainless steel bracelet and 9 months with the Sub, I'm only really comfortable with an oyster.

I took the opportunity to ultrasonically clean my bracelet while it was off, and boy does it sparkle!

JJ will be pleased....

David,
Try a 2 ring Nato or Zulu strap. They will allow you to center the watch anywhere on the strap and doesn't have the extra layer under the watch.

The Nato looks great with your Sub!
