Would you trade an Omega for an IWC?
Would you trade in an Omega Globemaster (SS, blue dial, on bracelet, 8 months old) for a brand new IWC automatic Spitfire 2019, (SS, black dial on leather/39mm/in-house movement/SIHH).
AD has indicated that I would have to add around £1,500 GBP to seal the deal. The IWC will apparently be available in the next 4-6 weeks. |

Personally, I was never a fan of the Globemaster so I would make the trade. If you like the IWC more, then go for it!

That particular trade probably not. Maybe for the new spitfire chrono though

Seems like a fair trade though very much in the low range. If you’re not into the Globemaster, let it find a new home.

I can’t speak for your particular trade. IWC’s are amazing watches, top tier quality and overall execution.

Only brand I ever had to have two warranty related repairs: IWC. Mark XV movement and Ingenieur movement. I’ve given up on them.

I would do that trade. I have a blue dialed Mark XVIII that is a super fun watch to own. It looks great on a few straps I own which makes me never get tired of wearing it.

The Omega is a much nicer watch IMO so I'd not do it.

Seems to be a fair bit of love for the new Spitfire Chrono here; it is a fantastic looking watch, but at 41mm, and from what I can gather a lug to lug of >50mm, it will wear too big for me, hence thinking about the three hander Spitfires with date.
