Which base PAM?

I’m ready to pull the trigger on a basic badass bitch but which one?
(Sandwich only)
PAM00176 Ti seems lowpro and a good deal
PAM00112 Steel is more lux but I’m not sure about the dial on this guy.
PAM00560 the current frontrunner, a little more than the previous choices but 8 day in house and a better balance of dial text IMHO.

Any other suggestions? (No tobacco please).

Of those three I pick 176 as it’s comfier to wear (lighter) and the movement is easier to service

Of those choices, 112 for me. I’m partial to the shine and feel of SS, especially on a base. The “8 DAYS” on the 560’s dial and lack of power reserve on the back for an 8-day manual don’t do it for me (YMMV).

But, how about a 000?

Or, 372 plexi?

000 isn’t sandwich dial right? And I forgot to mention I want to stay 44mm so although the 372 is it’s too big for me (yes I’ve tried one on).

Of those choices I'd go for the 560. Its basically just a 112 with a new movement anyway. I just dont like that it doesn't have a power reserve. Even a 3 day movement with out a power reserve is a pain, you'll get lost in 8 days and have to keep winding it, but thats only a minor issue.

Have you taken a look at the new models that were just leaked/announced?

Take a look at this thread:

https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=673835

Some more food for thought.

That 914 is sexy but unfortunately my budget doesn’t support a new purchase.

Those were the three I chose between when I got mine a couple of years ago. I really wanted a sandwich dial and had trouble finding a 560 with it. I ended up with a 176 after trying on a new 560 and it felt top heavy, the relative lightness of the 176 is great.

There is also 219 if you want Destro. But as a righter, I didn't like wearing a Destro on my left wrist.

Out of the original three, 176 wears nicely on the wrist, I think the weight and the all brushed finish is nice. But the titanium that PAM uses is soft (Grade 2?). For me, they seems to pick up scratches / ding quite easily.

560 *feels* the most up-scale. The slimmer case, less dome crystal and lower profile bezel looks and feels like nicer watch. If you dig the in-house movement and dial text (with the fat "6" and "9"), I would go with 560. Plus 560 with sandwich dial has been discounted, which means their production number is / was limited and already set in stone. :)
