Black Monster

I bought the new black Monster at the Seiko Prospex Boutique in the Ginza district of Tokyo. They could not have been nicer. I bought this watch because I liked the Kanji date wheel.

In addition to the watch, I received a towel, pins, candy and an extra 2 year warranty.

Nice !

How's the lume on these new Monsters ?

I had both a black and orange monster back in the day and I could kick myself for selling them.

The lume is green. Not the longest lasting. We took a picture with the saleswoman too. She was very reticent to pose and I did not post her picture without consent. They could not have been nicer on a relatively modest purchase.

That cyclops looks so weird in that shape.

The cyclops looks fine live. It may be my awkward photography. I think that that the picture is out of focus. I will post another shot that may be better.

Just returned from Japan

Long cruise on the Azamara line. Awesome experience. Buried in sand bath, went to onsen hot spring. Picked out our own king crab, ate at Kobe beef restaurant in Kobe. Went to Grand Seiko and Seiko Prospex boutiques. Itoya stationery store, Mitsukoshi Department Store, a great ramen noodle place. Just back.

Thanks! I will learn the Kanji dates. Midweek is tough. Saturday is blue, Sunday red, so I can get 2/7 days right.

Congratulations, very nicely done! I love the new monsters and yours is very special because of the date wheel and that you have such a cool experience purchasing it!
