Icon3 Keep it or sell Navitimer?

I am debating whether to keep or sell this Navi, I've had it for just over 2 years and only worn it twice but LOVED it those 2 times I wore it. I am just a bit skeptic as I heard they're not waterproof enough to actually go swimming with(might be wrong) and I got used to the weight of my RG Daytona...

It's a classic. However, since you've only worn it twice, why would you keep it...

Sell it. Buy something else that you will wear.

I would like to add a Navitimer to my collection someday but I would wear it.

If you are not wearing it then flip it.

As much as that's my daily, there are times it's just inappropriate or even unsafe so was thinking about using this Navi as a fill-in...

The Navi is my favorite chrono due to aesthetics, function, and rich history. Breitling has so many firsts in chronographs, that when I hear chrono, I think Breitling for sure.

With all that said though, if I don't wear a watch, I usually sell it. Good luck.

You loved wearing it. Enjoy it, wear it a few more times... Just not swimming and give it a fair chance.

I think a Navi is more flashier than a Daytona

If you are not wearing it then ask yourself why.... Something about the watch doesn't draw you in. Sell it and get something you will get use out of.

Twice in two years means its really just a change of pace. Either you're around water too much for it to be practical or you don't really love it. Otherwise it would be on your wrist more. I sold my 01 LE for this reason. You could consider a Sinn 903 if you want the Navitimer look with 100m WR. Otherwise, I'd probably just flip it for something more suitable to your needs.

I have one that I rarely wear due to size (navi world), but that was a gift. If there's no attachment to it then flip it to someone who will enjoy it. I like to think of my watches as the toys in toy story, if you leave them in the box all the time they get sad

I've got a Navitimer Olympus (which is in the shop right now for a well earned service) and it's my second or third favorite watch. If you don't wear your Navi, I would flip it for something you will wear on a more regular basis.

Beautiful iconic Breitling, I'd keep it even as a safe queen.

I vote to sell it. I had one on a strap and didn't get much wrist time, so I ended up selling it.

I'd keep it and put it on a leather/ croc strap. Means it is very different to the Daytona.

I'd sell it since it does not get enough wrist time to qualify for a watch.

Looks like a great watch; one I'd add to my collection in a heart beat.

I'm curious, I've seen a couple of threads you've posted similar comments on. Is there a Breitling which you like?

I love my Navi but put it on leather to give it a different look. Although, I do not have a Daytona to compete with it. That is on my wish list.
