Avenger Blackbird Boutique Edition of 100
I have an opportunity to buy an Avenger Blackbird Boutique edition, number 43 of 100. My question is, how do these things hold their value being such a limited run?
I actually do not care as I love the watch but my wife cares hence the question.

The residual value will still drop around 40% as soon as you've bought it, then they stabilise just the same as non LE Breitlings

So it seems as if the moral of the story here is to never buy a new Breitling unless it is discounted pretty heavily.
I appreciate it.

Exactly and by doing this you get a hell of a lot of 'top quality watch' for your money which you shouldn't lose value on in the future.
