Go for the Diver, esp if you don't have an AP.

Diver for me. They shouldn't be the same price. I think if you'd prefer to keep 3k in your pocket then the sd is a good choice as well.

Yes get the Diver so the SD43 doesn't get played out!

I have 2 Omega, recently sold one. I have one Rolex Datejust from my dad which I never wear. So I need a watch right now.

Welcome to the forum! You did post this in the AP forum so I don't think you will get an unbiased opinion but I say go with the diver!

The new SD out of the two options. Not a fan of the Diver range.

Sea Dweller definitely, the diver seems a bit dull to me.

I would go with the AP Diver but only because I already have a Sub & Pelagos.

Given your current line up, it would have to be the SD43.
You can put it thru everything, wearing it and not worry about banging it around.

Suggest you try them out.

I found the functionality of the diver internal bezel to be tedious.

I would go with the sea dweller. Actually the SD4000.

That is a fair point. I felt the same way about the Daytona screw down pushers...after clamoring about how great it was that I could swim carefree with them. Go figure.

This hobby is for fickle chaps

The diver is more special, the sd is a little more versatile. Whichever of those two traits you're aiming for is the direction I'd go.

I love the new SD, BUT, put the Diver on a bracelet and it's no contest.

Very true. However I have used the internal bezel on my diver the same number of times as i have used the external bezel on my DSSD. exactly zero.

I vote diver. If you time things with the bezel then sea dweller.

They are both great watches, no dispute about that, and i would want them both, but for different reasons. When compared as a one or other, the diver wins.
