YM Rhodium for an ALS Saxonia Thin?

I have a larger collection of watches and I really want to slim it down. After some time looking and discussing with ADs and sellers, I found a great deal on the A. Lange and Sohne Saxonia Thin 37mm in white gold. However, I would have to let go of my Yachtmaster Rhodium (116622) to be able to purchase the Saxonia.

For Rolex I have the Sub C (114060) and am next to get the Daytona (116500) either Jan or Feb next year (those funds are already set aside). My question is, would that be a good to trade the YM to acquire the ALS? I do not really need to be in formal or dress wear and like a watch that COULD dress up but also be worn daily. I have always loved ALS for their finishing and quality, but have always lusted after the Lange 1 or the 1815 models, however they do carry a larger price point.

So yay or nay? Also, this thread is nothing without pictures so attached are the two models for reference (thanks Hodinkee).

I would definitely sacrifice the YM since you have a Sub. Still, you might want to wait for the Lange you truly want instead of getting the cheaper version now.

Yay. That ALS model is a great timepiece that flies under the radar. PM me if you know of any friendly ADs that have that in stock.

Personally, I prefer the look of the YM to that particular ALS. I think the Daytona can be dressed up when in formal wear, so I'd be inclined to wait for that one to fill that spot in your watchbox.

If I were you, I would wait and save until you were ready for the 1815 or Lange1 because those are the watches you "have always lusted after" while you might be settling on this saxonia. I've learned that settling on a watch is more expensive later on

+1. Save for watch you really want.
