What do you wear for a "work" watch?

workwatch002.jpg
This is my work-horse. I purchased it years ago from amazon.com ($149.00 USD). I wear it to work because you never know when you might have to get in there and get your hands dirty. And believe me it's paid off. I've dinged this one up a few times and was glad I wasn't wearing one of my high-end watches. Suprisingly I've gotten several compliments onit from staff as well as cutomers. Keeps great time, luminousity is outstanding, and is one of the easiest watches to read in any lighting condition. So, what do the rest of you guys use and abuse on the job?

Currently I wear either one of my quartz Omega Seamaster's but when I get my Roly's I'll also be investing in a Seiko Monster for work-wear.

You know, Seiko used to be one of my favorites (quartz), but I always seemed to have difficulty with them as soon as the warranty ran out. But I would definitely give them another try... especially after seeing that Monster as well as some of the other new models they are offering!

My daily beater, if you can call it that, is my beloved AirKing. Small and unobtrusive, I hardly feel it on my wrist. It also doesn't snag on my sleeves like my Sub or GMTs.

I usually wear my Seiko Black Monster. It's great for work I definitely recommend it. For the money you can't beat it.

I don't work in long sleeves, so any of my watches can be work wear. The only one that I haven't worn to the office at one time or another is the Breitling TT Chronomat Evo, which is extremely flashy and noticeable. That one gets relegated to more dressy occasions.

I'm sorry but, I don't follow your logic here, you will wear your DD and your Daytona to work but not the Breitling (I don't know the value here but..) you save a Breitling TT for dressy wear? I'm cornfused! sorry guess I'm a die hard Rolex fan.. :o(

I wear the SD to work most often - especially if I am wearing a suit. I've worn the DSSD a few times with a suit. Very comfortable but it's, as everyone knows, large and can get caught up on the cuff. I'm considering the GMT IIC for a watch I can wear all the time. The SD is by far my favorite though.

If business casual, it can be any of mine. I've been wearing my vintage Heuer - extremely comfortable with the leather strap and light.

Casio Sea-Pathfinder for me.

I am on my second one as they last around 5 years before the batteries fail (4 of them).

The cost of sending the watch away, the time it takes (6 weeks) getting new batteries fitted and the watch re-sealed is not much less then buying a new one.

The watch is perfect for what I need it for and after wearing it every day for a month; it makes the feel of the Roliie all the better when I get home.

I wear the watch that fits my day. If it is a meeting with the bosses then it is the Milgauss all the way. If I know I have to roll up my sleeves and get dirty I will have to leave all the watches at home and use the phone in my pocket.

I rotate between my TT Blue Sub or my Deepsea. All office work so no problem getting banged up. :)
