Humble Thanks Paul For Clock

Paul,

A most humble thanks for sending this incredible clock. She is more lovely than i'd imagined, and when your guy in Cali is ready will send it to him for restoration.

It is truly kind acts like Paul's that give me faith about us humans... and in loving TRF and the truly terrific people who make it such a wonderful discussion board. As always... enjoy your time

Paul you give more stuff away than I think I own at this point lol. You're a good man

Nice clock btw.

I need to pick your brain about headphones one of these days as well Steven, My bose QC15's are probably coming close to their end here and I have never had a pair of headphones I loved so much and I managed a pawn shop for years and came across quite a few pairs that were the latest and greatest at the time.

That's awesome. Good on Paul for the gesture.

Does the lower register display running seconds? If so does it tick to each number or continuously sweep?

If you love Bose, try their latest/greatest. Another option would be Sony's noise-cancelling headphones.

And if you want to really go all-out, then Noble custom-fit in-ear monitors are the best imho. As you see with pro singers and musicians on stage, going full-on custom not only 'cancels' noise, the sound quality is unf^<kin'believeable! Hey, audiophiles love 'em, but yeah it also has that audiophile price tag too (so be forewarned!). Have a set of their now-outdated K10 (new model is called Khan) they custom made me in a then new style i designed we called Tiger Stripe (black acrylic main body with Italian rose gold stripes... don't ask price, please LOL).

PS: Custom in-ears also reduces that horrid air pressure changes when you fly on a plane.

https://nobleaudio.com/en/shop/custom/

Hope that helps, as ALWAYS glad to be service

I second that acclaim - Paul did a Tumi case giveaway and I was the fortunate winner. Still using it regularly - mostly packing an iPad Pro and notepads at the track.

In fact packing it today for a driver’s school this coming weekend.

Paul gave the Tumi away because, rumor has it, he is switching to Rimowa luggage.

Universal iems... never liked them either. CUSTOM is a totally different world as they perfectly fit.

Playing it forward... and can't ship these out until next week as am booked solid with stuff to do plus am too lazy to start a new thread to get BOMBARDED by PMs.

So, those reading this thread... during my / EnjoyTheMusic.com's private event at Watches Of Switzerland / MAYORS Jewellers in Tampa this past Friday i bought a couple of timepieces (Tag Heuer Monaco GULF for me, Cartier Tank Solo XL on bracelet for wife) and they included some sweet Wolf single timepiece winders spinning thingies.

(Ashamed look on my face) So, er, um, yeah, the days of one at a time are done, now it's two at a time LOL.

ANYWAY...

Have TWO Wolf single watch winder thingies (battery and AC, saw the AC cord, assume battery powered too). Brand new, never used as i don't believe in the extra wear and tear these things do on movements plus already have Orbita winders here i never use. But hey, if you want a FREE watch winder so be it. Only rules are:

1. It is for you to use (not flip / sell)
2. You live within the USA

Will ship out next week. First two who PM me their address get a free brand new Wolf watch winder.

Ready...

Get set...

GO!
