OK, just to put this to rest as I have been hit with a few PM's with offers and questions.

He would only sell the watch face to face. He insisted on me flying to New Zealand and staying at his house for a few days.

The whole thing just came across as weird. He also could never provide new/different photo of the watch. Just the same shots of it resting on a pile of garbage.

If anyone is in NZ you are welcome to try and buy this piece, however he has put it up on ebay for $27,000AUD. He literally thinks the watch is worth over 30k.....

Why don’t you just fly back and forth if the deal is right and you want the watch? Then you can check the watch first hand and pay on delivery. Should be worth a plane ticket and some hours on an airplane.

I believe the sleepover was compulsory. I am not kidding. I mean I want a 1680 Red badly, but I just keep having flashbacks of my first night in jail.

It might be worth the trip. I hear they're very hospitable in that area of New Zealand.
