Nice trade! The 512 is one of my favorites.

I'm just waiting for a version to come out without the faux patina.

I say do it. Somehow the milgauss does not do it form. Do you have anything else in your collection? This is not the most versatile of watches

I like it! The watch is quite beautiful and well made. It's also quite recognizable, people who have never commented on my other watches recognize it.

I'm still getting used to the 42mm size, with the large dial, it feels bigger, almost too big for a daily wearer (my current daily wearers are 38.5mm and I have skinny wrists).

There have been some odd issues like the OEM spring bars bent out within 1 month of wearing, which is concerning. The AD has been super helpful is addressing them though, which is great.

Thanks for the response, I'm going to try one on again over the weekend

The watch is stunning! Way better IMO than a white Mil, also looks like it fits your wrist perfectly!!!

512 looks great on your wrist. If your Milgauss were one with the GV crystal then I would not flip…personally not a fan of the white dial Milgauss so I say flip it if you don't wear it.

Love it looks superb. I'm thinking about trading in my PAM 351 44mm titanium case for 512.

Nobody knows what a Panerai is. For the love of god don't do it. I regret buying mine.

Congrats! I think you made the right move. First regardless of what the watch is the key is: you have to wear it. Once you stop wearing it - time to move on. Fan of the Panerai's hope to add one back into the mix in the next purchase or so.

I say keep the Milgauss. Sounds like a good deal now but that milgauss pricr keeps climbing
