Thoughts on this 2000 Rolex GMT Master ii

Hi lads, what are your thoughts on this 2000 Rolex GMT Master ii?

Hi I own few Gmt from this period. Usually they are A or U serial. And Rolex use luminova on the dial therefore you usually find Swiss only dial from this period watch.

Your box is also period correct for year 2000 watch.

^ Agree with the above, looks very polished....not sure if that is just the light/reflection on the case side between the 5 o'clock lughole and the crown in the 3rd photo or a ding? The 1680 you have been looking at is much better IMO

Most of the Crown side lugs on older Rolex’s will be thinner.

My first thought was - that box is sure nice! The watch - hard to say based on the photos but it appears to be in average condition at best.

I've got a 2003 all black Y-series GMT-II and I love it. It's never been serviced, either and it keeps great time.
