Authenticity check - 2005 Rolex GMT (D Serial)
Please help me authenticate this watch I found on Craigslist. Here is the text from the posting:
I’m selling my Rolex GMT master. It is keeping excellent and it’s in great condition. The serial number starts with the letter D, so it is a 2005. It has the original box and no papers. Can meet at any watch store to verify. It is priced very competitively and I’m firm. |

No red flags thus far, maybe a detailed picture of the dial can help concluding.

Turns out the bezel and hands were not authentic. It was listed for $7600 but I passed on it...

Clocked straight away the bezel wasn't authentic from the 20/22

Looks fake to me. Odd hour markers (dots) on the bezel are in the middle where they should be edging toward the dial.
