As for the other novelties, overall they did a really good job. The new chronos, while still not in-house, are a nice improvement on the old line up. The 44mm -- Ti looks awesome, RG and CE I think I prefer the older versions. All in all a very good year for AP.

Probably/hopefully by summer, but you just never know with AP. When the Anthracite CE was announced it didn't hit until November.

We should have a better gauge as AD's start to meet with AP and get that preliminary info out over the next few days.

Didn't it get delayed by more than a year after it was first introduced? I believe anthracite was first introduced at SIHH 2014, but not released until 2015.

Yes LOL. But when they REALLY finally introduced it took almost a year to hit AD's.

In recent years some releases have shown up by summer and others after.

I really hope they have some of those Ti's produced and ready to roll

I'm poised purposefully to purchase an RG44 but now thrown into indecision - do I go with the current style whilst they are available or wait to see the new one in the metal. My initial reaction is I think I prefer the current style with silver sub dials, but not sure.

I wonder what effect the release of the updated style will have on sales of the current one - whether it will reduce demand as people wait for the new version or, if there's a preference for the current style, have a reverse effect.

Love that one ... but as PJ said ... why would they mix titanium with platinum? Odd. Looks fantastic tho.

I have to say my favorite of the bunch is the TI 44, followed by the CE 44. I would love to see the RG 44 in the flesh .... after some overnight internal debate (yeah), by pictures I prefer the old, but you never know.

So no usual brushed vertical lines finishing on the bezel?

They've re-sized the subdials on these ROCs as well, looks great!

I would see the new one first to make the best decision. Prices nearly always go up on discontinued popular models, esp on hard to find models like the RG is here. In UK now it seems sellers are looking for any excuse to raise prices, popular models or not, so just glad I have got mine.

Good spot, Platinum is often served up smooth as we know, this might be too, altho we have no idea of the accuracy of these AP mock ups. Monday is the next key day. All lots of fun!

Likewise curious, that thing will be pricey though (well, even more pricey than normal anyways haha).

Yes, the central one is the smallest, but what will hurt people with little OCD is the new position of the date that is clearly off.

Yeah, looking at it again the small subdial would bother me, even with the nice panda set up, just reminds me of fake quartz ones.
