Need help choosing Spring Bar Removal Tool
Hello and thanks to any and all in advance for responding.
I need a tool such as the Bergeon 7825 or 6825 for bracelet removal on Rolex (where there are no lug through-holes. I already have a 6767-F tool for that). The 6825 and 6825-PF seem to have slightly differently-dimensioned tips. So which tips would I need, or is that of no consequence? 1mm? 1.3mm? Is the simpler 7826 Tweezer-type design good, and is it sufficient for use other than the more comprehensive 6825 series?

The 7826 is FAR better in all aspects. Really is no comparison between the two.

I won’t comment on the part about which tool. But I will say this - there is no universally “best” choice.
Our anatomy and patience varies enough that different tools work better than others for some folks. And experience counts a lot...practice...makes perfect no matter the tool. Also, I believe you should have multiple tools and tips because you’ll never know what you’re going to buy next. Also friends and family will come to you with all sorts of challenges as they find out you’ve become a burgeoning watchsmith. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
