Say a ring causes blood constriction to your hand and that you cant wear one, problem solved:)

Congrats again! It was great to meet you and your future better half at the recent GTG!

I'd go either a 3mm or 4.5 mm plain platinum wedding band from Tiffany ("Tiffany Classic"). It's timeless and handles the rigors of daily wear (and a marriage ) well. It has served me well.

My wife and I have matching cartier love wedding bands. I love mine and it complements her engagement ring very well.

Plain. Platinum. Band. Looked at several makers, ended up with a Christian Bauer ring.

We went with Mokume Gane style rings from here https://mokume-gane.com/ There are a ton of different styles/metals to choose from. We went with red and white gold with silver. They are super comfortable. I am not one that craves attention and would actually rather go unnoticed, but these rings do receive more attention than most when wearing them.

go on *bay and see all the bargains, engagement rings aswell, nobody needs to spend much on rings with such a huge used market out there.

Congrats!

I pretty much only wear my 14060 most of the time. I'm also pretty rough on things so any stuff like diamonds would likely get messed up so it's just a plain white gold band for me. It works nicely with my sub.

If you care for craftsmanship for rings as you do for watches and potentially anything else, consider Christian Bauer. In business since 1818 and they are not cheap but made very nicely.

They hand forge their rings which basically means out of a bar of platinum or whatever material you go with. Even Tiffany is die cast meaning it basically is the same process as filling water in an ice cube tray to turn into a solid (hence the bubbles that are inside the metal). There’s an old YouTube video in some other language that shows the workmanship that goes into it.

Will it make any difference to your everyday wear? No. But it depends if that’s a priority for YOU to know what it is and why it’s of value. I found it special and haven’t regretted my decision.

They also are produced by order so not like there’s real inventory in any stores so there’s a little bit of lead time involved.

Here’s what I went with I think but in platinum.

I wear a cobalt and diamond ring. The diamonds are small, so it’s not over the top. She picked it out. It’s heavy like platinum.

I chose to get mine as far from the societal norms and as close to my wife’s design as possible.

I work with computers far more than I do with my hands nowadays, so it doesn’t hinder any tasks I have whatsoever.

Both of our rings are four-pronged diamond solitaires in 18k white gold.

I agree with those that suggested a plain, simple band to match your favorite piece. I had a custom made very simple rose gold ring made to match my RG Yachtmaster, and have been very happy with the quality and did not pay a designer premium.

Good luck!

First of congrats! I went with a Tiffany Platinum ring and couldn't be happier. I've been married and love the way it looks now with a little wear and tear. Platinum is really tough and can take a beating.

Went with this one. Maybe not be a bad idea to engrave the date.(In case you forget)

This is what I was going to say, not married, but my ex Fiance and I had visited DY a few times planning out rings. Fortunately the relationship ended before that purchase was made 🤣🤣

Congrats! In the same boat. Probably going to go with a simple WG band since I don't wear much YG.

If you do anything outside, you may also want to look into a silicone band too... My brother in law lost his finger because of his wedding band...

Amazon curated collection are basically benchmark rings. Iirc. I bought a platinum band like 6 or 8mm wide comfort band at maybe 800. Was quoted 2-3k at a shop.

I did like the bvlgari stuff. But the guy at the place in vegas was not someone i wanted to work with. (Said to me: “oh thats an old rolex (16710). Guess u cant afford a new one” or something)

Simple gold ring that never comes off but accepts the scratches and dings of life and occasional manual labor.
Basically I'm branded as a husband for almost 29 years now.

Silicone rings.

In approximately seven years, there is a 55% likelihood you’ll throw it away .......... go disposable.

Enjoyed looking through the different choices- makes me wonder how much region plays into styles. My advice would be the same as your watch- wear what you like.

Mille or Nomos- how fancy do you want to go?

I was going to say the same thing. Cartier is still top notch for bands and engagement rings.
