Which Rolex do you always come back to? The watch I can't quit . . .

My favorite modern reference remains the 116600. It fits my wrist perfectly and I love the matte dial, absence of cyclops, understated crown guards and bezel symmetry. It is one I've sold to fund other purchases a few times as I tend to wear give preferential wrist time to whatever is new. As such, it's come and gone on a number of occasions. Which Rolex has been a boomerang in your collection?

BLNR. Sold and realized that in vain. But quickly received the second BLNR.

Easy. 16710. Will be my daily until I die and it becomes my son’s. Keeps things nice and simple.

Not a boomerang, though. I’m not an idiot and I can experience contentment. Why would I ever sell a watch that I enjoy so much and is so much a part of my daily life?

I'm generally an Omega Speedmaster guy, but I'm forever changing it up to my BLRO 16710.

Never boomeranged but about to sell 4 watches for 1 PM and I already feel that I will miss two of them. The 116600 and 16570 stays though.

16710 for me as well. The original Rolex that I fell in love with, and consider myself lucky to own one, even if it is a "common" watch!

My wrist seems to be a constant territory battleground between my BLNR and DaytonaC. A few of my other Rolex watches haven't been worn for months. I don't feel as bad about not giving my Lange Saxonia a lot of wrist time -- I usually reserve that for very special occasions that call for a proper dress watch.

I fell for the BLRO in 1984 when I saw the watch on Magnum PI. Took me 30 years to get one, but now that I have it the 16710 BLRO is my all-time favorite Rolex.

It's the Hulk for me. I tried to get rid of it once.... Then just had the agony of trying to buy another one for a few months. I now know better than to sell this one.

Explorer I. I've been wearing the BLNR a lot lately (only had it a few months) but I still love the Explorer. Boring for some, but I am a huge fan of its simplicity...almost purity
