Landed on my lap and I didn’t even know they existed - Pepsi and Daytona

So I wasn’t a big Rolex collector to begin with and I got a call from my AD that two of the most rarest iteration of a Daytona and Pepsi are available for purchase. I spoke with my good friend who I’m happy to call my mentor — he said I cannot go wrong with both of these ever especially at the price.

Left is the Pepsi Meteorite in white gold and the right is the Daytona 8 Diamond in white gold. The AD said that these are at least 18 month wait ONLY if you’re in the executive list. Both are much more rare than any Pepsi and Daytona to date.

'why these models are normally an 18 month wait' the AD said to the man who wasn't on a wait list that was being offered two of these watches.

Nice get, but I doubt the ADs story.

Happy for you on your excitement

I would still prefer the more popular and plain model (black & blue dial) - More timeless and won't go out of fashion

Rolex is not the of main stream diamond jewelry, neither using Tiffany and Co diamonds, hence no no on the diamond Daytona

I won’t be surprised if AD dealers start trying to unload Rolex pieces at MSRP, or slightly below. The tables have turned with this pandemic. The demand, at the moment, won’t exceed supply. Our country is in a economic crisis. And so are Rolex AD.

Beautiful combo ... congratulations!

However, I do believe the Rainbow Daytona is a bit more rare. ;-)

So you didn’t know they existed, you’re not into collecting and you seem to really care about how rare they are....interesting, congrats on the watches.

Congrats. Super stunning pieces for sure

These models are usually special orders for sure. Not many ADs order them and I doubt Rolex just sends them out unless they’ve been ordered. So in that sense they are limited inventory. Are you getting them both because they are rare models, or because you really want them

Congrats! Those are two monster incomings.

They’re certainly not watches that sit on the shelves, but I don’t know if I’d call them rare. Perhaps the meteor dial more so than the Daytona though. I think any AD would be more than happy to order those! Not trying to burst your bubble, but also don’t want you to be disappointed to find out down the road they’re not as rare as you thought.

Lol dealer lies....none are rare and of course there more rare because they have been produced for a year or two.....so yes less produced than watches Rolex has made for 5-10 years but no means rare.....if your spending 100k at a dealer it’s not hard to get what you want not what someone says is rare....kind of like saying a Mercedes is rare because it’s AMG motor lol

Yes, WG Pepsi with Meteorite dial is hot item and hard to find, but not this Daytona.

I saw this Daytona sat at Rolex AD show case for at least a month.

This Pepsi sell for a lot higher in the gray market.
