Another volcanic eruption in Iceland this morning. Here´s a picture taken this morning from my balcony. No worries. We´re all safe. Here´s a link to the news this morning:

Wow that’s wild!

I’m equally impressed by the erupting volcano as I am how nutty we WIS are by thinking to take a pic of your Rolex in front of exploding lava

Love it.

Only been here since 2012, but that's the best erupting volcano/wrist shot I've seen so far.

Awesome wristy!

Out of curiosity, what does a volcanic eruption sound like from your balcony?

Very cool.

My wife and I planned to visit your country this summer. We like to visit Europe but these volcanoes scared us away from possibly not seeing all we wanted.

So we looked at Portugal and the Azores.

Looks beautiful and we decided this is it but our niece took on a new job and can’t babysit our older dog so we now must choose a driving trip and bring her along.
Looks like the Lake Michigan islands will be our destination.

Tldnr;

Iceland is beautiful and the top of our list to visit. Are the volcano’s having an impact on travel and tourism?

And. I will not be buying another dog when this beloved one passes on until my wife is fully retired. She’s still employed full time as well as an adjunct college professor while I’m fully retired and feels comfortable having someone else babysit it.

If she’s not going to be comfortable then no pets for us.

Stay safe.

Great picture and watch. My wife and eldest daughter visited this past summer and loved everything about the country. They are following current conditions and discuss it quite frequently. Stay safe.

The volcano is in the next town. No sound to be heard.
But the next town, Grindavik had to be evacuated as the lava covered the part of the town. See picture.

The Volcano is actually inactive for now. It has been erupting every few months. You might get lucky :)

This is the first time I've heard that you can be lucky if the volcano erupts exactly when you'll be there :smoking: strange country
