okay.... while celebrating at one of our local pubs with the wifey this afternoon, found myself not able to take my eyes off the DJII and thought why not have a wrist shot thread didicated to the new DateJust II.

with the increasing number of DJII getting accepted in the Rolex world, there are still loads of people "dissing" it, due to its new size and oyster bracelet option only.

so far there has been some awesome DJII wrist shots, but i think it'd be ideal to have them all in one thread

- what do you say?

any sorts of wrist shots welcomed, as long as they adhere to the forum rules and is also family friendly - the more the merrier!

anyway, i will start... here are some of my wrist shots.

my wrist size is 7.25"

This is the thread I've been waiting for! Hoping to see the silver dial with blue Arabic's and the black dial with roman numerals... I'm completely torn between the two!!

I've tried the blue numbers one. Looks much better online than in person. To me, the blue numbers were hard to see. They looked grey to me.

Ditto. It is too big for my wrist, but my AD said a lot of NBA players have bought them at their store since they were released and on a wrist that big it doesn't look so chunky...

I would like it better if the fluted bezel were more scaled to match the original scaling of the fluted bezels to dial size on the smaller version.

im sure thats why they kept the 36mm version for smaller wrist customers.

I do prefer this size over the 36MM. 36MM is too small for my 7.5 inch wrist

Hey dukester, I totally agree I had the same issue with the 36MM. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to fit my wrist with a metal bracelet with a Datejust but then I discovered the 41MM. Can't believe I thought I would have to get a different watch!

Finally I read from this article about all the different sizing options for the Rolex Datejust and got the full picture.

great looking one Hobo. this would be my other pick if i didnt want one with green details. it is a really classy and sharp looking piece of work. i went through the same thing with the TT GMTIIC, it was just too busy for me. its def. a personal preference.

36 fits perfectly on my 7 1/2 wrist. Funny how we look at the same thing and see something different. That's why there are watch forums, I guess!

I had a choice with the TT GMT 2c and the TT DJ 2 and fell in love with the DJ2, I guess its personal preference, and that it can be worn dressy or casual, but here is mine.
