Indeed. I'd like to see a comprehensive guide to nicknames. Who's got the Photoshop skills?

Also, who wants to help build the ultimate list:
- Paul Newman
- Rainbow
- Panda
- Polar
- Steve McQueen
- President
- Bluesy
- Blueberry
- Sprite
- Fat lady

I'm definitely missing tons.

Not a fan of these nicknames probably because they are cartoonish or soft drinks. I think the brand deserves better.

Nice! How about the new GMT Master II two-tone 126713GRNR? Tough and sharp looking in yellow...the "Wolverine" perhaps?

…are silly and unnecessary when all models in question have their own unique reference numbers.

Officially, i don't think Rolex acknowledges or endorse nicknames. However, if you "search" for the name on their website these bring up the actual watch

Kermit (not starbucks)
batgirl
batman
pepsi
rootbeer
