Very interesting to read all the different viewpoints. After a couple of full days of wearing the strap, I'm still liking it a lot.

Yeah, I saw those, but in looking at some photos, the texture or something about the steel they use for those end links did not match the polished steel of the watch. It kind of ruined the look for me and I preferred not having the end links at all, instead of having end links that didn't compliment the watch.

The end links appear to be brushed and to some folks might not indeed look good on models with polished lugs. It's all a matter of preference. I have to agree your watch probably looks better on the strap you selected. Good job!

Personally I think that the SS Daytona belongs with that oyster bracelet it comes with. That strap looks great but I see it more with a vintage sub or maybe even an explorer
