Hibiki 21 has been my go-to special occasion whisky for a while. I just wish I bought a few more bottles before they really skyrocketed in price - they're impossible to find even in Japan these days. I turned up empty handed on my trip there last year.

You should rename it the Whisk(E)y Thread. After all, it might come from the US or Ireland.

Not knowing the years you have there, I would say the Pappy 15 year was most likely the winner but the Michter's 10 year Bourbon had the potential to steal second and most likely went head to head with the 4R blend.

Profitable session last night. Down a bit overall for this game, but that can be rectified easily.

Pappy 15 and 12 were 2015 release. Michter's were 2016 release. 4RSB is the Loch & Key release.

Pappy 15 was the winner by far. Michter's 10 rye was a bit of a disappointment.

I don't like Michter's rye, it's recent releases are way over rated, the older ones are stellar so people forgive them, I do not. Same for their bourbon really, but the 2016 M10 was a bit of a rebound, it's good, not great but good.
