Original listing here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/304939728310

In person it honestly does look pretty minty. Doesn’t look to ever have been polished but I’m no expert. I also see looking back in the pics the gmt hand is slightly off centered. But I didn’t notice until seeing it in my face.

Posted listing. Pics show the defect but I didn’t notice until I got it in hand.

Haven’t taken off tags yet in case I want to return. Yeah eBay had $500 off watches coupon. Couple that with the security of buying through eBay and the return policy. Seemed safer that a Reddit buy.

There's at least two different watches shown in that listing, and neither is the watch shown in your first photo. Box set is all wrong, too. And that price is really almost US$15,000 ??? (it's showing me in Hong Kong dollars). Seems you have been seriously conned.

You need to look at the “sold” listing. eBay automatically shows other similar watches.

Here’s my screenshot from the sold listing…

Defect is evident.

Listing shows lower dial text as Swiss - T <25 on one and Swiss Made on another, while yours is Swiss.

EDIT: Ignore my posts. Your link went to another listing.

No surprise - I didn't click on the link. Troll post most likely. OP will not post a pic of his "error hand" watch.

I would be embarrassed as hell posting this "story". Hi, look at the piece of junk I bought.....

Anyone looking has to be careful since the one you posted is to the sold listing. eBay offered a similar one.

But I see what you see. It is bent and in this pic the result is obvious to any decent watch dealer. When you see the local time, the 24-hr hand is clearly off on the bezel marking (shows before before the hour 16 but should show a smidge after 16).

I suggest a return for refund. You will never know how long it would take to fix, or if you get a correct replacement hand, or get a “story”. Just get your money back.

I’m not entirely sure what your issue is? I also posted a picture of the piece in hand earlier in the thread. But here it is again with the defect more clear in person. https://imgur.com/a/Ns8Iyyx

Thanks everyone who provided helpful comments or insight. I’ve gone ahead and initiated a return and will be shipping the watch back tomorrow! It’s definitely more clear in the eBay listing now that I’ve seen the defect in person but god is it bad in person.. oh well. Back to searching for another Polar! I’ll post an incoming post when I get another to hopefully close this successfully at some point

The watch isn't in mint condition. Return it and get a much better example.

I can see a number of issues from your picture.

Move the MINUTE hand to 12 o'clock. The GMT hand should then line up with the Index marker. if you continue to rotate the minute hand the GMT hand moves at half the speed of the hour hand.

Look up Explorer II operating instructions, read them carefully. For example, you can change the hour hand independent of the minute hand.

Good luck, the picture does not show a problem as the minute hand is not on the 12 hour.

The GMT hand is bent, not just misaligned.
