Your Rolex and Shoes - 2023 Edition

Figured that it would be fun to revive a thread from the archives :) Let’s see your watches and kicks, from Jordan’s to dress shoes!

Let me “kick it off” with a bluesy and light brown Edward Green Blucher’s for those semi casual days…..

BLRO with shell cordovan Crocket & Jones boots..

Let's bring out the sneakerheads as well :)

Oh! I like this thread! I shall contribute when I put some on (it’s currently too hot for shoes)!

Very nice D.

My new steel caps Steve.

So comfortable - just like wearing slippers and Aus $45.00.

I buy two pairs of Sketchers every spring on BOGO from Rack Room Shoes for when I leave my house. Otherwise, it's dollar store flip flops. I guess I can take a picture of my Rolexes laying on the flip flops, but it's five o'clock somewhere so I guess I'll just get drunk instead.

I have a few pairs of Sketchers, they are so light to wear.

Yummy, shoes!

I am an absolute shoe fiend, with a special affinity for Gaziano & Girlings. Managed to get all of the RTW Oxford styles, before switching to the MTO styles.

Amazing shoes. Really great craftsmanship, with re-soling they will last a lifetime (and more), and puts a big grin on my face knowing what I’m wearing and that other people see them as ‘just’ shoes. I love hidden quality.

In order:
- My SD43 with a MTO pair of pigskin derby shoes (looks like an Oxford, but if you look at the lacing it’s a derby).
- My BLNR with the HRH Prince Charles that were made for him but G&G had made several extra pairs, and I managed to snag one.
- The whole collection and proof positive of my love for shoes.

Fortunately it’s something my wife understands since I have to pay her ‘shoe tax’ as well, and she has far more than I have.

Be blessed!

I didn't yet have a Rolex in this shot, but these are still my every-day. Of course, now I tuck the laces in...

Wow! What a collection. For those who are not familiar, G&G shoes costs more than $1k each but I believe they now have entry level pairs at $800 or so correct?

As for me, shell cordovan collection is slowly growing.

Thanks.

The two loafers are actually Loakes that I wear on the plane. They do look like JL Lopez.

Personally I'm a basic wing tip guy. Guys with fancy shoes seem way too high maintenance.
