Bluesy or Batgirl

I was recently offered (grey of course) of Bluesy and Batgirl, for almost same price (about USD 19K tax in)
which one should I take?
My brain tells me Bluesy because MRSP is much higher than Batgirl, but my heart goes for Batgirl.

Or I should wait to hear from AD (which I have been waiting for more than 3 months, I know I am impatient )

I’d go BLNR and if AD ever comes through just buy it and sell the gray-acquired BLNR.

Bluesy, you won't feel too bad going much over retail when this Rolex craze eventually dies down... What do you currently have?... also, you can acquire BNIB 2023 Batgirl around $2k lower than what you mentioned.

Bluesy can be had at an AD for retail fairly easily with a slight wait in my experience. Especially if you have even just an ok relationship somewhere. I wouldn't pay a premium on it.

I would ask the AD you're waiting on for a bluesy, but still to be on a wait for the BLNR, and then maybe the BLNR comes faster.

HOWEVER, bluesy is fairly flashy and can be easily spotted anywhere. I noticed in another thread you had some concerns about a watch being too flashy, so that's my opinion on that.

yeah, batgirl price is still negotiable. I feel I can push it down for another 1K at most.
I currently have a date just 36, and an old yacht master 40.
I am struggling between GMT and Sub though.

yeah, you are right, I hard-passed a brand new 126713GRNR at AD because it's too flashy, that GRNR has almost same price as Bluesy in MSRP though.
I have not seen a Bluesy in person so I am not sure now.

Good point but I guess depends on your location. I've been "on the list" for a Bluesy since 2020 here in California. Only got a call for the black variation of which I turned down circa 2021. I've never seen one on display (other than exhibition pieces) since 2019 but that can be just me.

Go with what you really want, don't settle. If you want a BLRO, go for it for a thousand or so more.

You will eventually have both the Sub and GMT.. question is which one will you buy first :)

But if I was in your situation, I would go with GMT since you already have a YM.

Exactly what I’m currently doing. Enjoying the watch and if the call comes then I can decide which one to keep.

As for the Bluesy, I acquired mine for less than MSRP, so no reason to get it from the AD.

Well, you seem to prefer the GMT, so why are you asking a bunch of online strangers if you should maybe pic the sub instead? Buy what you love and will wear -period.

I prefer the Bluesy and the premium is not crazy. However, when you spend thousands on a watch, you need to love it, it's all about the thrills, so follow your heart.

Why anyone would want a childlike comic book over a ref BLNR Rolex watch defeats me.

I'm with Padi on this, hate all these names like Batgirl, Bluesy, Hulk, Kermit, just refer the watch to what it is !

I prefer the BLNR on Jubilee. A great watch and one that wears so nice with the Jubilee bracelet. I am a Submariner fan and have owned several TT models over the years but would pick the SS Submariner over the TT any day.
