Incoming 5990

they do come in batches... happy to add mine to the few deliveries on the forum that have happened recently.

Absolutely love the watch. To me its big, without being overwhelming. Its sporty and casual and can also be dressed up too. In some ways its my most versatile watch. If i had to go somewhere in one trip and was going to the beach, somewhere where i would be wearing a suit, and then out on the town and could only take one watch, this would be the one.

All the best complications combined into one watch.

Could you comment on the thickness? I love the watch and was just worried about how thick it is.

its thick vs a 5712, but really its not too thick vs a lot of other watches. I actually like the bigger wrist presence of the 5990. Its no where near an offshore in how it wears. It fits under a shirt cuff without any issue for me.

Pics next to a GMT II for reference

Thanks everyone. It really is a watch that looks so much better in person. I never was a huge fan until the first time i saw one in person and immediately went to my AD afterwards to source one.

Im quitting while im ahead. So this is a good one to bow out on for a while as i need a break from sourcing watches. The watch market is becoming too stressful

Damn... basel is in a month

I can't stress how much I agree with this point - it is definitely the most versatile watch I have on my collection. If someone held a gun to my head and asked me to pick one watch to keep from my entire collection, without a second thought this piece would be it.

That’s what I thought a month ago. Then the Daytona c came along... and now the 5575 is rearing it’s head...

The hunt is never over my friend!
