I hate myself sometimes, but I am helpless.

I purchased this watch on Amazon.

It is a beautiful retro watch from Orient. I've always wanted an Orient, but never found one that really did it for me.

I like this trend of some watch companies issuing watches in the styles of the 1960s and before, but I do wish that they would keep the size down to 38mm or below.

This one is 40mm, which I'm hoping I can adjust to. I'm okay with 40mm sports watches, but less so with dress watches.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Marc.

I feel so much better now.

It's a shot in the dark, but I like the looks.

Looks great! Reminds me of a vintage Longines I used to have (someone else's photo from the Internet):

The crazy thing is that even though I wear Rolex almost exclusively, I keep buying all these inexpensive watches and some that aren't exactly inexpensive, and even some that require considerable service.

I think this one I'll wear at least a couple of weeks when it comes in.

I know what you mean...
I bought my "one and only" grail watch a couple months ago, and in the last month I have purchased 4 Hamiltons.
Okay, one was for my wife, and another is getting returned, but STILL...
It's the hunt, and anticipation of getting a package. Oh, and the watches are usually nice, too!

Very nice Orient you have there, Grady. Thanks for sharing.

It looks like a fairly nice watch! Congrats, although there are so many retro style watches that are...you know, actually retro.

I have two Orient Bambinos. They are a great distraction for satisfying one's watch jones without dropping five figures.

The Orient is in!

A very nice looking watch.

I'll report on other factors later.

Pardon my less than rock solid hands.

The real cameras are still in storage.

As I've noted before, this watch is several millimeters larger than I think a dress watch needs to be, but I have to move into the 21st Century like everyone else, and if I make a concession for size, I have to admit that this is a very nice watch for the $130 that I paid for it.

I feel quite certain that the average person might think that it cost several times what it actually cost.

It certainly doesn't look or feel cheap.

I like it Grady. I'm a Seiko fan, and they are popular on that forum. Great choice, enjoy it and Merry Christmas
