Joey Chestnut Wins Hot Dog Contest

After eating 59 hot dogs in 10 minutes at the Nathan's hot dog eating contest, a sudden death overtime win of 5 more hot dogs put Joey Chestnut in the winner's circle.

Kobayashi came in second in sudden death, he lost by 1/2 a hot dog.

My wife and son were divided on who to cheer for. With all of the hooting and hollering going on you'd have thought it was the super bowl.
As one of the announcers proclaimed, It was one of the most exciting finishes in all of sports.

A few years back, I entered my mother in a Shoofly pie contest in Lancaster County PA. A Shoofly pie is a molassess gooey sticky Pennsylvania Dutch pie that is the heaviest, sweetest pie you ever had. Anyway, as part of the contest they had these guys in a Shoofly pie eating contest. At the end I don't know if the eaters or myself was sicker from watching them devour these Shoofly pies.

59 in ten minutes. Wow he can eat ht dogs almost as fast as JJ can flip Rolexes!
