Amazing gift from my wife

A few weeks ago, I wrote my first post here to ask for opinions between the Hulk and Bluesy as my first Rolex. It seemed like the general consensus was Hulk, since I currently live in Hawaii.

Since then, I received word that I was selected for a new job in Plano, Texas, so I decided to forgo the Rolex purchase because I'll need to move my family in June. I got my deposit back from my local AD in Hawaii, and figured I would have to wait a few more years.

Last night, I came home from a school event, and my wife surprised me with two gift boxes for my MBA graduation. When I opened her gift, I found a brand new Hulk from an amazing AD in WA that I was referred to from someone on this forum (you guys are awesome!). My wife contacted this AD personally to coordinate the surprise. The other box was a Wolf winder case that was included with the sale.

I couldn't be happier with this Sub. The dial is amazing. Some photos below...

Fantastic once around. Congrats on all, great year. Now go and get some Hawaiian scratches on this thing to remind you of the islands while you're in Texas...

Wow very cool story and congratulations. That is very nice of your wife to go to that effort and surprise you. My wife who is not a high end watch fan wanted to gift me an Omega as my wedding present and she gifted me a Speedy Pro (I told her which one to get). We are some blessed husbands!

I think I know exactly which AD you are referring to and the ribbon confirms it. Goldfarb is AWESOME! Did Katie take care of you?
