359 strap
looks very nice, but a little hard to use, not soft enough IMHO.

Very nice. I am looking to get back into the Panerai fold. Had my eyes on the 312, but now this one. Not sure I dig the polished case, but it probably makes the watch. A brushed case could ruin the watch. Does the dirty dial make it harder to match straps? Would this be a versatile Panerai to have if I was only going to have one Panerai? Or would the 312 be more versatile? How does the 1950 case wear on the wrist? It looks thick.

I've seen it called that on other forums. "dirty" refers to the light brown numbers, lettering, etc on the dial.

It goes a bit against the traditional Panerai DNA. As an only Pam I might go for a more traditional look as in the 312, but the 359 is certainly a looker. I've found that because of the patina brown straps as well as black accent the dial nicely. |
