Patek Perpetual Celebration

Rejoice all. This new year offers the opportunity to enjoy both the beauty and mechanical elegance of our Perpetual Calendar watches.
We are looking forward to seeing the date on the watch pointing to February 29th and March 1st the next day. A nice bottle of Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon will also be enjoyed.
How about you? Please share your watches and thoughts.
Happy Mardi Gras

I always wanted a PC but alas will probably only be able to afford a quartz one, assuming Casio or Timex makes one. Yours looks really nice.

In fact, Casio, Seiko, and Citizen all make quartz perpetual calendars.

It does not jump to march 1 instantly at midnight but goes to 30 then 31 a few minutes before jumping into march 1 at midnight.

I observed 5740 last night. The date changed to 30 around 10 pm, then to 31 around 11 pm, finally jump to 1 around 12pm. The watch maker who figured out PC was really really smart!

I’ve recently started noticing annual calendars and I REALLY like the Patek 5146

But damn those are expensive from AD. I did see that omega makes an annual calendar though, for less than 1/4 of the price of the Patek lol

Well , I guess I am a little late but I can tell you I went to bed Sat night at 10:30 Pm and my 5327 was saying it was Feb 29 - when I woke up it said March 1st. What a modern miracle and a work of art! Here it is today before I change to my 5711 white . :clap
