Omega Speedmaster Professional Authentic?

Hi there! I have someone trying to sell me an Omega Speedmaster, I have only seen the watch in pictures but I can't tell for certain if it's authentic. Everything checks out except one thing, the back engraving. There is an additional engraving "Professional" and "Moonwatch" as indicated below. I have never seen that on a speedy pro. Can anyone advise? The seller seems legitimate.

It's the reference: 311.30.42.30.01.005

Best Regards

I've never seen that too... Interesting. When in doubt, walk away. These watches are quite common on TRF and you can get one easily from a trusted seller.

Agreed, but it looks mighty authentic. Would love to see it

Have you searched that reference and looked at other images?

There are 100s+ of these on the market at any time. Walk. And find one of the other of the ubiquitous watches to buy.

Thank you for your replies everyone! I decided to take a plunge and buy it. I hope it turns out authentic. It was purchased in April 2017 so this might be the newest "engraving". I have checked all the pictures and everything looks darn as hell authentic. Matching case to serial numbers, warranty card everything. So this might really be new.

No worries, it's fine. Just a very recent (2017) production model. Enjoy!
