Back in my Panerai days, I used to all the time. Worked fine for me.

Don't wear suits that often , but when I do, I put on a OEM gator or OEM calf and they work fine.
Need wider sleeves on my shirts though.

I wear a suit everyday, and at one time I had more than a few Panerais..as large as 47mm....wore em all with a suit. I found it dependws mostly on the strap. Put a gator on it and it dresses it up just fine.

Suits? I have not worn a suit since I left the States, why do you think I never came back. Short sleeve shirts, shorts and deck shoes every day for me unless the wife and I go out for dinner then a pair of jeans and the same shirt and deck shoes. Dress codes in Jakarta are quite relaxed here.

make it a "sensible" strap, that will change the look of the watch :-)

I don't, but have seen it done many times before. The few times I did, the watch got many compliments.

I can't get mine under most sleeves and Im not going to custom make shirts just to be able to wear the watch. Therefore, my PAMs remain as casual wearers.

I agree with the right strap and with the right shirt cuffs then it works fine. It does tend to come down to the immage that you want to create and I do tend to wear my 292 more often with a suit.

yup
i wear them with a suit no problems , a nice oem / gator on it no problem , although the 141 stays the perfect dress watch for me.
