Street Photography: "Caught By The River"
In regards to street photography, you have to realize that there's nothing in it other than the love of doing it. There is no money; it's about poverty right now. So if you don't enjoy going out there and taking pictures, you're probably not going to like it, I may be constantly setting myself up for abuse, so if I didn't absolutely love doing it, I wouldn't do it. There is nothing better then looking at the pictures at the end of the day - putting a tune in and playing it on repeat while putting these posts together.
Yes it is leading to something - gimme a couple of weeks and It will be there, I'll be where I want to be with this - nope, no money in it yet but that may come in time and if it doesn't well ... It is all fine and dandy as I am doing what I like. These are my impossible Sisyphean expectations just to get posts up and then have people comment on it, good or bad... Yes the shots and pictures are not the best out there and may never be - but put together in this fashion it is kinda fun and different, a slice of life as seen through the camera (Okay there is the odd good shot...) Caught by the River of time and a torrent of passion for this photography thing... First and foremost it is fun! If it wouldn't be fun - I wouldn't be doing this... So without further ado let's start this discovery walk, I put this one together while I was listening to Caught By The River by Doves... Would I give it all away, yes ... Maybe ... Perhaps ... Who knows? Son What have you done? You're caught by the river You're coming undone Toronto is filled with interesting buildings and houses One of the best way to get around the city - Street cars! Life You know it can't be so easy But you can't just leave it Cause you're not in control no more Great parks all over the place Where one can rest from the non stop buzz of the city And you give it all away Would you give it all away now? Don't let it come apart Don't want to see you come apart Maybe read a little I wonder what he is reading? So close yet so far I thought that was a good picture And this one as well Son What are you doing? You learned a hard lesson When you stood by the water Don't just stand there do something! Perspective Hum... My kind of woman, okay maybe not How can you not love the city So many people Who never stop hustling And living You and I Were so full of love and hope Would you give it all up now? Would you give in just to spite them all? Dangerous sidewalk vehicle! Maybe I'll get this book - what say you? Life in the city is both vibrant and energetic As well as miserable and lonely I am starting to wonder how we managed without cell phones for so long? Cause you give it all away And you give it all away now Don't let it come apart Don't want to see you come apart Hustling Working Sunbathing Enjoying the moments... ...those very precious moments Cause you give it all away And you give it all away now Don't let it come apart Don't want to see you come apart You have to enjoy those moments as the present is all we have, yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come. If you can't be with someone give a person you care about a call just for the hell of it :-) Lay I lay in the long grass So many people So many people pass Yes - that's right so many people pass Some we wish we could get their number... Stay Stay here and lie on back Get down in the cornfields Stay till we're caught at last But she walked to fast and I am not out there to pic up chicks... (Plus I am way too shy for that type of boldness!) Give it all away Give it all away now Don't let it come apart Don't want to see you come apart Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare, International Society for Krishna Consciousness; Iskon, a very big organization and generous as well - they will take you in for three days no questions asked and no money exchanged... Try that at a Catholic Church! And you give it all away Would you give it all away now? Don't let it come apart Don't want to see you come apart Nice ride Nicer ride! Would you give it all away? Would you give it all away? Would you give it all away? He looked in pain, he was wincing all the time I stood there drinking my coffee... Give it all away Give it all away Give it all away Give it all away A Hobbit! He he he not but I seldom see anyone walking barefoot in the city, and no he didn't even look like a street person. |
