Great pics. Not something you see every day that's for sure. Good job!

Unbelievable! I think I like the "old" one better than the new one. I just bought my first Rolex...a white Milgauss. Couldn't wait for the GV any longer.

Just how rare are the originals?

The old Milgauss is from 1969.

They are very hard to find and cost much $$$$. They are 37mm so not much smaller than the 40mm current model.

The vintage model is quite elegant, and is most probably noted for the retro style minute and hour hands together with the red arrow tip second hand (similar to a Daytona).

Also the red "Milgauss" on the dial is a nice touch.

Well there you go Justin you just got the leverage you needed to check out a Daytona.

Yes, these vintage Milgauss are very expensive indeed (I've had mine for a number of years and paid a lot less).

The Daytonas are great.

P.S. I'm waiting for that rock star photo:

Yes should be here by end of Nov or early December. Nice Christmas present . It will spent a lot of time of my wife's wrist as it is the only watch she has really gotten excited about.

Great shot, Steve. I noticed that the old Milgauss does not have the lightning bolt second hand......wonder why?

For one thing, I do like the finish of the older Milgauss.
This watch doesn't look as good with the polished bezel and center links. I love the special green crystal but now with comparison, it'll be nice to have the green crystal on the older model or brush out the newer one.

I think the earlier models up to around '66 had this hand.

Steve,
Love that vintage Milgauss

Great pic's Steve.

That 69 Milly is an outstanding piece for sure!

I must say the GV looks a little warm, like it could use a little more air. Might have to peel one of those plastic jackets off.
