50th Birthday

Well, I hit the big 5-0 this year and have been giving lots of thought to what watch to buy. I am blessed in having a wonderful collection of modern Rolex’s, and having made the switch to PM a couple of years ago it narrowed my choices, as I wanted it to be PM.

I decided upon a DD40 with Eisenkiesel, with or without diamond bezel and spoke to my AD and placed the order. I am hoping they come through, as they have done everytime. So let’s see, I hope to update this thread in November with a picture of my birthday present to myself

Have a great day everyone

DD40 with Eisenkiesel is such a beautifull piece. Would love to own one! Good choice for your 50th. Fingers crossed that the AD comes through for you!

Perfect choice, one of the best dials currently. Did you consider the onyx dial? :)

That would be a powerhouse reference. Stunning to say the least.

Good luck in acquiring it and welcome to the 50 club. I joined last year, and it's not near as bad as I had feared.

I look forward to the incoming thread!!
