Not mentioning collectability here, just the practical side ....

best
Thanks my friend! Really tough decision after seeing your incredible 5070R!!

Thanks! I do think the day window is slightly bigger than the month window, but not noticeable unless you really compare the two windows

Icon14 Okay I must say one thing...

THAT'S AWESOME!

Honestly, never say never my friend on owning all three. You never know, just depends on how big our minds let us think!

That is one hell of a Patek. Fyi, if you only are able to own one Patek for the rest of your life, you made a great choice. Happy holidays!

I remember reading recently, that this question was posed.

And having seen the two discs, that display the day & date. I am not surprised that the day is slighty smaller. It has to fit 12 seperate months on, compared to the other only having to fit 7 days on it.

Of course this may not be the reason, but in my non technical mind, it may complete sense

Thanks! I haven't had this feeling of complete satisfaction with a watch for a very long time, and so I think that means I made the right choice. But you are right, definitely would love to own some of the other PPs on my list down the road. Happy Holidays to you as well!

I think that makes sense, and visually because the white space in each window is proportionate you cannot easily tell they are different sizes unless inspected very closely.
