Nope. Waiting on the 116519ln. Although I was surprised that I actually liked the rose gold.

Not sure what we think, but I think these are probably exhibition watches, and I prefer the SS version.

They probably said “we have a couple of Daytona’s that are already sold that you can look at but these aren’t for sale”

Get the rose gold watch. The SS has a scratch on the side.

I think what you see is the edge of a clear sticker.

Sigh…that happened to me last weekend…like WTF? Is there anything I could have or should have said to been able to buy on the spot?

The rose gold was sold, not sure on the SS. I primarily was interested on the case size differences. The PM definitely wore bigger.

I'd be willing to bet the stainless steel was not available

Both look great. I would chose either of those over a white dial daytona. I have never been a big fan of the hour indices on the Daytona dial. The ones on the rose gold version solve that problem for me plus the whole aesthetic of the dial looks really good. I'd choose that one.

I’m starting to not care for the rings on the sub dials of the SS models.

It’s simply stunning on your wrist.

Wish there was a 3rd...RG with a ceramic bezel as it wouldn’t show scratches over time.

That’s because it IS bigger. Look at the lugs. RG has larger lugs bilaterally. Also the SS has the thinner lug on the right side

So you saw some beautiful Daytonas. Which particular watch are you even trying to buy? Especially since you didn't inquire on the black dial daytona and it's availability.

My AD has a white gold Daytona, grey dial, Oysterflex and a white jubilee Skydweller on order for me.

But, after seeing the rose gold Daytona, I might get a Daytona Oysterflex in RG as well (sunburst dial I think).

I prefer the broader lugs of the RG and WG models. More presence.

What genius AD/Dealer let you try them both on at the same time?

I think he means a scratch from the RG's crown

Not to derail, but I'd never noticed/known that about thicker lugs on the PM. What's weird, looking at the Rolex website and seeing the watches side-by-side, is that it seems it applies to RG/WG, but that YG/PT are same as SS. Why would that be?

Love the stickers. Sought after and even more rare than the watches in the wild. Besides that, then I much prefer the RG Daytona.

We think we like the pic.

We have been appeased.

We approve.
