Hello from Brisbane, Australia

Hey! So I am excited to say that I have finally bought my first Rolex Subbie and I Love it! I have always had a fascination with watches and the Rolex has always been on my list. I did a lot of research and purchased one from 'Brisbane Vintage Watches' now know as 'Vintage Watch Co'.
The only devil in the detail, which is going to sound silly is that it was sold to me as a 'Circa 2007' but a lot of websites tell me that my serial number beginning with 'Z' is a '2006' model, am I reading to much into this?? For the best part it holds pretty good time but can sometimes lose a few seconds a day, it this normally with a older watch?
Thanks in advance for any feedback, and I look forward to learning more about Rolexes.

-Brocky

I have attached some photos of my Submariner 14060m 4 liner, hope you like it as much as I do.

I like it as much as you do for sure! My first Rolex was a 4 liner 14060M from '08 and I love it more every time I look at it.

Stumbled across this looking for references on Vintage Watch Co in Brisbane myself. As far as you can tell all was ok?

From the little I know serial number shouldn't be a big deterrent as there really seems to be too many variables, but any other issues?

Appreciate any help myself

Great piece by the way

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! :)

Hey NathanOnly, Everything checked out with the watch and its a Great Piece. Like you have said, there are so many different Serial Number variables, I was never worried about it just more of a general question..

I can only report back Great things from Vintage Watch Co. I Recently purchased another Rolex 'Ladies' Oyster Perpetual for my Wife from them, also in Great Condition.

I will be in Brisbane in a week. Any suggestions on what watch shops to check out? Looking for a vintage Rolex.

Welcome to the forum.

Year/serial not much of any concern there.

A few seconds a day? Sounds more than perfect.

If it were off by 15 or so seconds - then I'd have it regulated. But that's just me.
