FS: Universal Geneve steel Compax
Here is a treat for UG lovers and vintage Chronograph fans.
Here is a vintage chronograph (reference 884.420) from I believe the 80's-90's before Universal Geneve
closed. This is a steel Compax chronograph in virtually NOS condition. I would conservatively grade this at TZ 95% +.
It has a UG 84 manual wind movement which is a Lemania 1873, and virtually identical to the well known Omega 861 movement.

The dial is silver and perfect. Hands have tritium and dots AT 3,6, 9. Blued steel hands for the sunk chrono dials. Pushers look like they are waterproof with screw down collars,
but they are cosmetic only and don't actually screw down. Screwdown back is marked 10 atmospheres (100 meters). Crown does not screw down.
Stainless steel clasp is signed Universal Geneve, strap is not UG. Measurements I've taken are: 36.5mm diameter (w/o crown), 45.5mm lug to lug
and 13.5mm thick (to top of sapphire crystal).

All functions work perfectly, I have no idea of service history, but I timed watch over 48 hours and ran same as my Apple watch!

No box or papers, just a gorgeous watch.
Price is $2,400 which incl. shipping anywhere in Continental USA.
