At 34mm this watch somewhat qualifies as a dresswatch.

I think you guys have skewed perceptions of what is a gentleman's dress watch. A lot of you are posting large sports watches on bracelet. For example, a DateJust may look shiny and can be worn with a suit just fine, but it is not a proper dress watch.

For one, a correct dress watch is on a leather strap only. Precious metals are usually what it's made of too.

Not really dress watches

But the closest I've got to what might be called a dress watch.

My initial reaction of "wow," I now regard as understated. Those two watches are absolutely wonderful.

Some amazing watches and pictures to date.
Very impressive.

To me a 'dress watch' should be simple with no complications and it should be vintage on strap.
My choice is my 1948 birth year Omega.

FYI 37.5mm. 14k.

Very nice!
Was looking for watches in my dad's birth year, which is also 1948, this seems like a great at choice.

Some beautiful watches guys! Great to see such a variety, and lots of Nomos (on my list!)

Here's my special occasion/dress watch, my late fathers imaculate 1964 Rolex Oyster Perpetual in yellow gold. Absolutely love this watch, the proportions are classic!

That is stunning. Coupled with the fact it has sentimental value... Awesome!

It's size makes it a great daily wearer as well.
It's not like the oldschool dress watches like the Cartier tank & PP calatrava, the pure dress-factor of these watches puts a lot of people off, while they actually look fine when worn with jeans.
