I'm 29.

I keep going back and fourth on a Sub C or TT DJ41, my heart is torn between both. I keep leaning toward the DJ 41, even though I never really dress up. I just love the watch.

I hope to be buying very soon.

I couldn’t afford one then. So it’s easy for me however are you in an industry that people might think your to young to wear a gold watch. If your in sales btw we all are it might spook older customers/clients/patients etc. I'm much older than you and there are days I know not to wear my gold Rolex.
Just a thought

I'm 34 and wouldn't hesitate for a second to Wear a two tone or a solid gold. I'd vote who cares what others think, wear what you like.

I think yellow gold is definitely less popular with the younger crowd. Like fashion, I'm sure that will change many times

Im 43, and just sold my mint 116718.

IMO, whether you can ‘pull off’ a gold watch under 40 years old 100% depends upon your circle of friends and family. Can’t speak to others, but where Im from, you WILL be judged if your wearing a gold watch....and....expectations from ‘others’ with promptly ensue.

Yellow gold definitely pops more, and I'll wear an all gold watch from time to time. I'm in the sticks, where steel is in. It's good to go against the grain every once in awhile.

I️ say go for it. I just turned 27 and I️ am looking to add a YG day date to the collection. I️ have worn TT for a few years now which people say isn’t a young persons watch. It’s all about your personal style and love for watches. If you can afford one then you should buy it, wear it, and enjoy it. Life is too short to not be yourself.

if YG or RG wasn't popular Michael Khors wouldn't be imitating them left and right..... I'm under 40, barely, I've owned different PM since 27.... Be you and if you feel comfortable wearing it, go for it. If not, wait. These are all spectacular time pieces.

32 and I don't feel out of place wearing a YG DD. Wear what you want and don't care about what anyone else thinks. If you were under 21 then it would be pretty ridiculous especially if the watch is full PM since it will always give off the impression that you didn't earn it. I say go ahead and pull the trigger!

Really gorgeous Nautilus! Just like my favorite music, at first the design really didn't do much for me but the more I saw it, especially after trying one on in person, I've grown to really admire it. Owning a 5711 is definitely my goal. I think they look stunning in every metal really but this rose gold, chocolate dial combination is really something special. You have chosen wisely lol!

Maybe in LA. I am in board rooms daily and see very very few solid gold watches on anyone. I happen to like them, but don't see many at all

Thanks!! The Nautilus is one great piece I was deciding between a DD40 and a AP ROO then seen a few pictures of the Nautilus and bought it with out ever trying one on. Best decision I've made this far if you get the chance snag one you will not be disappointed

Wrong....you are like 10 years off....gold has been very popular amongst ppl in their 20s and 30s very for many years. Just check social media. LA and NY are a proper reflection of fashion and what's hot and what's not.
