I'm off to Amsterdam early December.

Only for 3 days/2 nights

Any recommendations of things to check out ?

Has anybody been to any nightclubs out there they can recommend

I'd visit the Dam square, PC Hooftstraat, 9 straatjes, maybe Anne Frank house.

Get tickets to the Anne Frank house early online. They sell quickly. Also, check out the Van Gogh museum.

Also, be sure to eat the fries at 'Manneke pis' with mayo and a frikandel speciaal.

Bas, have you visited these rooftop bars? I've never been and I'm planning a visit with my wife this time. We don't stay at hotels anymore because we rent the same apartment since 2002, but these hotel bars look great and seem fun. Thanks buddy.

Ahh, our East Indies heritage. Yes rijsttafel is definitely a must.

Will also be there early December, doing a river cruise but going down a few days early. Going to check out the ADs and all the great museums. Also looking forward to the Christmas market over by the cathedral.

Save time for the Airport shopping, maybe if flying out go a little early. Of course Dam Square is a shoppers paradise, which is next to Gassan Rolex AD..

I was there 2 times this year and really had a great time with my wife the second time, first time was just me for 60 hours but just so much fun.

Also Amsterdam Watch Company was interesting

Coffee shop tips
-don’t buy anything prerolled
-give it a smell n look before u buy
-orange juice goes a long way if you get overwhelmed
-the edibles ..take ya time but don’t be afraid to pound 4-5 times the recommended serving..you only live once.

Have fun!
