Agree with Mike, that feeling when gold around drapes your wrist is incredible.

That feeling only gets better with time as you forge your relationship with your watch, especially as a daily wearer. Just like acid on the skin, gold (and anything else) has its own effects on the wearer whether or not you can see the result. You’re GOLDEN sir. Bask in the glory.

Love those yg watches. I really hope to join that club some day but if it never happens, I will just have to be happy with what I have now.

Congrats on that beautiful piece.

Yellow gold has some lure, I have a Rolex Daytona 116506 but I still think that any gold watch is more attractive than others

An interesting post.

I find my DD feels good to wear but my gold Omega Constellation feels 10x much smoother and softer....go figure.

The good, I really have fallen in love with my watch.

The bad, I like to look at pictures of new watches, I think that’s cool, I like that but not near as much as my YG Sub. I actually don’t even want another watch now.

I have worn the Apple Watch once since I got the new Rolex. Expect I will wear the Apple Watch around customers, the Breitling hasn’t been on my wrist in a month.

Wearing the Rolex, initially I was a bit conscious about the message of the big gold watch on my wrist. The more I have worn it I have come to realize it is giving a very positive message about me personality. I have had several people see it, and comment.

Our company is closing out a record year, and already have sales on the books that assure that next year will be a record year. The wife bought this for me while we were on Waikiki early in Nov. much of the success of our business has occurred as a result of our work there. Where it was bought, when it was bought has real meaning for both of us. The people who have noticed the watch and commented have said, love the watch, it’s nice to see someone who earned that.

I have never named a car, bike, gun....

My Rolex, I call it Blue Hawaii.

That’s a beautiful watch. The enablers in this thread are killing me. The tug for a PM Daytona, Sub or DD is getting hard to resist.

From the first morning it feels incredible to lift PM watch and slide it on my wrist. Heft is one more dimension to enjoy watches.
