Have no idea if this is BS or not but they cut production across the board. Secondary market is bursting at the seams with Rolexes

No way this is true. Rolex sells EVERY GMT they make, there's no reason to slow down production.

They are literally building a new production $1.1B facility to INCREASE production, it should be open by 2029.

In the meantime they're opening 2 new temporary facilities that should be online by 2025

Rolex Is Building 3 New Factories to Keep Up With the Unprecedented Demand for Its Watches

OMG someone actually fell for YouTube clickbait?

Wow.

The video below is much, MUCH better and tells the truth.

If you watched a minute of that video you would know it refers specifically to production issues associated with the the red half of the bezel, so BLRO only.

Does he show actual proof? Is there a notice from Rolex, or is this just another typical speculation? My buddy just got his Meteorite btw.

Do YT'ers get paid after 30 seconds or is that just streamed music? A full minute seems too long. Should we be 'reporting' these videos to YouTube admin?

Never any concrete proof just vague statements and hutches.

This demonstrates the problem with AI and algorithms.

People put content on YouTube in the early day’s.
1 person uploads a video with sensationalist content and titles
Gets more engagement
Makes more money
Tries another similar video
Same thing happens
More people notice
Eventually the new bar is set
In order to get your videos seen at all you need to produce sensationalist dross
Meanwhile people are chasing after a new high with more extreme content

Content is stuck in a feedback loop where quality suffers greatly. All because extreme content is affecting the stats informing the algorithm of what content gets more views and engagement. These algorithms have no quality measurements or moral assessments. They feed off engagement which is often highest on divisive content.

The last time I saw something watch related that was really compelling was something by John Reardon or perhaps the Phillips mini series stuff

Watch the movie The Beanie Bubble (2023).

Would not be surprised if they are pressing pause on the models so the secondary market doesn’t collapse and kill their brand.

The bezel is now in its 10th year of production. There are replica ceramic Pepsi watches that are nearly identical to the real ones, for goodness' sake. Anyone who still claims that Rolex is having trouble producing the Pepsi ceramic bezel is full of it or misinformed.

P.S. You know it's questionable as soon as they mention "66%." That's a specific number that is unlikely to be discovered by some YouTube watch dealers.

These guys have no stake in modern rolex. They're a vintage watch/strap shop.

I heard from a friends cousins sisters boyfriend that the new factory Rolex is making is going to be dedicated to nothing but Pepsi bezels. Should dump your Pepsis now.

Can’t stand these two. All they do is speculate and act like experts who work for Rolex.
